Vegan Roasted Tomato Sandwich

Our roasted tomato sandwich recipe takes a simple tomato sandwich to the next level with the smoky flavors we have incorporated. Simply made doesn’t mean simply flavored.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Large Tomato Sliced
  • 6 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Ciabatta Loaf
  • Alfalfa Sprouts
  • 1/4 Yellow Onion Sliced
  • Balsamic Glaze to Taste
  • Vegan Mozzarella Cheese
  • Vegan Mayo to Taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 °F while you coat your sliced tomatoes in 1 tbsp of olive oil, 6 garlic cloves, 1 tbsp of dried basil, and salt & pepper to taste. Roast for 15 minutes.
  • While the tomatoes and garlic are roasting, prepare your veggies by slicing the onions and gathering the remaining sandwich ingredients.
  • Once the tomatoes have roasted, lightly toast your bread and ensemble! Spread the mayo and the roasted garlic on the bread. Top with alfalfa sprouts, roasted tomatoes, sliced yellow onions, balsamic glaze, and vegan Mozzarella.
